June 2008, before all heck broke loose

I made a video with my Handy Cam in June 2008 at my kid's school. Little did I know at the time how bad things would get. Soon after that, the principal in the video, the lovely redhead, would begin a 3-year battle with cancer that she lost just recently on August 23, 2012. Also, the town in which I lived lost over 200 homes to wildfire in November 2008. And not to mention the financial meltdown and the ascendancy of you-know-who to the presidency. Oh, to be back in simpler times.
