Cardinal Dolan scolds Dem Convention 2012 in benediction

Cardinal Dolan closed the Convention by essentially scolding Democrats for gleefully supporting the killing of babies in the womb. I think this is tremendously important, and it was literally the last few minutes of the Convention. Cardinal Dolan just basically stood there and told the world that Democrats are evil, that something is wrong with the party, and that the three day celebration of killing babies in the womb was deluded at best and grotesque in more accurate terms. Democrats were oblivious to just how direct and scathing Dolan was in his benediction…but no one tried to stop him like they would have in other years. Though, frankly, if the Convention had not been such a celebration of killing babies and a festival of nightmares and anger maybe Dolan wouldn’t have felt compelled to say as much as he did. Either way, a Convention that closes with a Cardinal scolding all the attendees for their behavior over the last several days does not elicit much confidence in Democrats’ victories.
